Minera Gold Limited (ASX Ticker: MIZ) is an Australian-listed international gold producer which is exploring and developing a portfolio of medium-sized gold projects in South America.
Minera Gold’s lead asset and current focus is the Torrecillas Gold Project in southern Peru. Trial mining has been underway for more than three years and is currently ramping up to commercial production rates following the release of the maiden JORC resource estimate for the main Torrecillas vein of 102,100 ounces of gold at the exceptional average grade of 16.1 grams of gold per tonne. Additional exploration on the neighbouring Torre Chico and Ady/Oly veins is expected to deliver an increased JORC resource and prove up two additional veins for long term mining.
